Artistic Noise creates community with systemimpacted youth to enhance their lives through the empowering and therapeutic potential of art making. THE SYSTEM WANTS US TO BE SILENT THATS WHY WE MAKE ARTISTIC NOISE THE SYSTEM WANTS US TO BE SILENT THATS WHY WE MAKE ARTISTIC NOISE THE SYSTEM WANTS US TO BE SILENT THATS WHY WE MAKE ARTISTIC NOISE WHO WE ARE Artistic Noise is a Harlembased nonprofit consisting of artists educators activists licensed art therapists alongside many gifted teens and young adults. For over 20 years we have connected the power of artistic practice with thousands of youth and adults who are incarcerated on probation in foster care unhoused or otherwise impacted by the juvenile court system. Artistic Noise programming creates safe and celebratory spaces where courtinvolved and systemimpacted teens and young adults can be seen heard and supported on their pathways into adulthood.
