The Law Foundation operates through its Board of Trustees as a fiscally autonomous, 501(c)(3) organization with the inherent goals of meeting the long and short-term fiscal needs of the UMKC School of Law. Established in 1959 by alumni and friends of the School, the Foundation works to sustain those unique and important aspects of the educational process considered essential in support a superior legal institution. Through providing auxiliary financial resources, the Law Foundation helps support certain fundamental elements that might otherwise be unattainable.
