UPDATE: Frida had a fantastic recheck with Dr. Smallwood today! 🐾 She followed it up with her weekly rehab session, complete with water therapy and laser therapy! Each session kicks off with Frida standing in the water to work on her balance and core. With the treadmill on and treats in sight, she’s all in… though she’s allowed to “cheat” with a paw or two when she’s tired. 😉 Afterward, she stands square to keep working those core muscles. Once she’s out of the water, she gets dried off, suited up with her doggles, and soothed with spa music during her laser therapy. Her rehab tech is so patient, especially when Frida gets a little squirmy near the end. The IVW staff adore her. Her anxiety has decreased, her pain is under control, and her sweet, playful spirit is finally shining through. Frida’s journey wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible supporters.
