Today, the Portage County Business Council, Inc. had the honor of hosting Mock Interviews for 8th grade students from Ben Franklin and P.J. Jacobs Junior High Schools at Mid-State Technical College. These students stepped up in a big way—dressed for success, ready to shake hands, and eager to learn. For many, it was their very first interview experience, and they did a fantastic job! The real magic? That came from our incredible volunteers, who generously gave their time, knowledge, and encouragement to help guide these young individuals through a meaningful and memorable experience. Your mentorship made all the difference. It’s opportunities like this that help shape confidence, communication skills, and the future of our workforce.
