We are World Ocean School We inspire students from all backgrounds to be courageous and compassionate changemakers for themselves their communities and our planet through transformative education aboard our iconic tall ships. Get On Board World Ocean School provides immersive handson education to more than 600 students from diverse backgrounds each year. Since our founding in 2002 more than 23000 students have participated in our programs. Not only do students become ocean scientists and tall ship sailors while on board they also develop invaluable life and social emotional skills.
