We cultivate spaces for education and reeducation inspired largely by the popular education model developed in the Citizenship Schools and Freedom Schools of the freedom movement. We believe education comes from people gathering to listen learn and share with one another. This kind of education is particularly transformative when people come together across lines of division that would typically separate themwhether it is race class religion or incarceration.
