New Jersey Association of the Deaf and New Jersey Deaf residents are advocating for their equal rights and to protect and preserve American Sign Language. NJAD works to improve the lifestyle and opportunities for the Deaf and hard of hearing people. The New Jersey Association of the Deaf (NJAD) is a leading advocacy and service organization for the deaf community in New Jersey. It serves as a hub for all agencies working to improve the welfare of the deaf in education, employment, legislation, and other areas that impact their ability to achieve economic security and social equality.
