Project Onyx Youth Leadership Institute
The mission of our project is to continuously seek to provide meaningful, engaging, and positive reinforcement for low to high achieving youth, through mentoring and dynamic social activities, for the benefit of their futures and their communities. To implement an optimistic, responsible, and open environment to sustain critical thinking and growth, focusing on the four themes of the Urban Learner Framework:(1)Cultural diversity and learning, (2)Unrecognized abilities and underdeveloped potential, (3)Enhancement of ability development through motivation and effort, and, (4) Enhancement of the resilience of urban learners.
