Schlitz Audubon Nature Center: Raptors in Conservation Audubon staff brought live birds to Saint John’s and provided a unique opportunity for residents and staff to see and learn about these remarkable birds up-close. Raptors are strong indicators of the overall ecosystem health. The presentation shared information about the effect our environment has on conservation efforts, as well as the conservation successes and challenges that raptor ecologists face.
