HAZEL INCORPORATED
The dual mission of Hazel Incorporated is to present the choreography and teaching philosophy of the Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company to as broad an audience as possible, and to integrate entire communities into the dance-making and performing process through educational, interactive projects. The company's philosophy views dance as an art of supreme physical control, and extreme personal expression. Anyone can learn to, benefit from, and enjoy, dance regardless of prior experience. There are no limitations except one's own interest. We believe in sharing the profound joy of moving, in creating a healthy framework from which to encourage individual expression through movement. The company teaches students of all ages and levels in a wide variety of settings.
