We offer a low cost training program that meets the Oregon Health Authority’s 60 hour requirement for TO ADVANCE THE PROFESSION TO IMPROVE HEALTH OUTCOMES FOR OUR COMMUNITY. OUR ACTIVITIES AIM TO HAVE A HIGHLY SKILLED INTERPRETERS COMMUNITY THAT IS ECONOMICALLY SUCCESSFUL AND VALUED AS AN INTEGRAL MEMBER OF THE HEALTH CARE TEAM. IN COLLABORATION WITH HOSPITALS, CCOS, AGENCIES, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND THE STATE, IT HAS IMPROVED LANGUAGE ACCESS THROUGH ON LINE LOW-COST TRAINING, SCHOLARSHIPS, JOB FAIRS, CONFERENCES, ADVOCACY, AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES.

Registration for our Summer 2025 60-Hour Health Care Interpreter Training is open, the deadline to register is here and there are only a few spots left. The course schedule is as follows: Saturday class July 12 - September 13, 9am - 11am OR 10am - 12pm Please be aware that it is a 2 hour live class via Zoom, plus 4 hours of additional homework per week and attendance is 100% mandatory to receive a certificate of completion.
