In the 1920s the Cranberry Lake Development Company built vacation homes at Cranberry Lake. In response to the recreational needs to the residents of the vacation homes the Cranberry Lake Community Club CLCC was established in 1924. Today Cranberry Lake boasts many yearround homes as well as numerous vacation homes.
