KINGSTON HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

The HealthAlliance Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization supporting the mission, healthcare programs, services and facilities of HealthAlliance, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network. Founded in 1982 as the Ulster Health Foundation of Kingston Hospital, Inc., the HealthAlliance Foundation has worked to fund quality healthcare in Ulster county and surrounding communities for nearly 35 years. During this time, the Foundation has been instrumental in improving and increasing patient-focused healthcare, quality services and community-based activities through initiatives such as expanding emergency departments, purchasing state-of-the-art equipment, enhancing mental health services and offering educational programs. In May 2013, the Foundation assumed the name HealthAlliance Foundation to reflect its expanded focus as the fundraising arm of HealthAlliance Hospital: Broadway and Mary's Avenue campuses. As HealthAlliance continues to adapt to the changing landscape of healthcare, the HealthAlliance Foundation is focusing on funding opportunities in three critical areas at HealthAlliance: technology and equipment to help medical professionals diagnose illnesses more accurately and efficiently; treatment advances in the Emergency Department and specialty services such as dialysis, oncology, and wound care; and training to keep hospital staff on the cutting edge of patient care.
