HPNA was established in 1986 and is the national organization that represents the specialty of palliative nursing, which includes hospice and palliative nurses. HPCC offers specialty certification to hospice and palliative nurses and team members. HPCC IS THE PREMIER NATIONAL CREDENTIALING ORGANIZATION THAT ADVANCES EXPERT CARE IN SERIOUS ILLNESS THROUGH STATE-OF-THE-ART CERTIFICATION OF CONTINUING COMPETENCY IN HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE AND RESEARCH.
