Transitions Housing is a transitional living community that provides housing and services for recovering addicts and alcoholics. To ensure a successful transition back into the mainstream of society, we provide services to include social, educational, and life skills as well as work with various state and private agencies. It is our mission to empower participants spiritually, emotionally, socially, and economically so that they may be able to become a greater asset to our society at large.We strive to lengthen the connection with the recovery community by encouraging clients to return as peer support at Transitions and help new clients familiarize themselves with a new area and a new recovery lifestyle. These returning volunteers are also encouraged to attend groups and share their experience, strength and hope to those new in recovery. Transitions also refers clients who have completed our 90 day program, attending 12 step meetings, maintaining active employment, and who are abstinent to recovery apartments in our community. It has been proven that the longer the addicts stays connected with a recovery program after treatment and transitional living, the better their chances of long term success.
