Richmond County Orchestra founded by Staten Island musicians in 1998 features world class orchestra artists together with professional musicians, composers, poets, and visual artists from New York City, creating traditional as well as new multimedia concerts for the general public and to carry these programs to area schools, community & cultural centers, houses of worship, parks, and other public venues. It also teams up with Staten Island student musicians in public schools side by side mentoring programs and public concerts side by side. During the Covid19 pandemic it created several virtual concerts on YouTube.
