Today is a day that brings together representatives from farm and agricultural commodity organizations, along with other diverse agriculture interest groups, to meet with state senators and representatives. As part of the day, representatives from agriculture organizations and groups meet with their respective state senators and representatives. Legislators are also provided baskets filled with agricultural products and a specialty box lunch to remind them of the multiple ways agriculture affects their constituents. (fb)
