Erick Flores and his family found support and success beginning with Harper English literacy classes, and free child care, at Partners for Our Communities (POC) Community Resource Center in Palatine. After graduating from Harper with multiple degrees, Erick is pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree and is an assistant director of operations for POC working to make sure the program provides what the community needs.
