CHERUB IMPROV INC
We are Cherub Improv - volunteer Improv Comedy! Cherub Improv: We Wing It! We Perform Community Service. Cherub Improv is a non-profit organization that partners with senior centers, nursing homes, hospitals, runaway and homeless children's shelters, cancer support organizations, and other similar organizations throughout New York City and surrounding areas to provide entertainment and education for residents by performing and teaching improv (improvised) comedy and musical improv comedy free of charge and at no cost to the persons in attendance or to the organizations to which Cherub Improv provides its services. Among others, Cherub Improv's volunteers have led improv workshops for the clients of Project ORE of The Educational Alliance (a homeless outreach program) and the children of Gilda's Club (a cancer support organization), and performed improv comedy shows for the patients of New York University Medical Center's RUSK Institute and Kessler Rehabilitation Center, as well as for the seniors of the Kittay House, part of the Jewish Home and Hospital.
