Welcome to the Evelyn Waugh Society The Evelyn Waugh Society is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote for the public benefit interest and research into the life and works of the English author Evelyn Waugh 19031966. The Society has members around the world including authors eminent academics students and researchers but the majority of our members are nonspecialists who simply enjoy Waughs books and are interested in learning more about the man and his works. Please consider joining the Society for your own interest or simply to express your support for our mission. We welcome the contributions of all members to our publications conferences events and to the conversations about Waugh conducted over our email discussion list.
