Japantown Community Congress of San Jose We are dedicated to The preservation of San Joses Japantown The mission of the Japantown Community Congress of San Jose is to advocate for the preservation of the historic and cultural heritage of San Joses Japantown and promote efforts to sustain and enhance the diversity vibrancy and viability of this community as a legacy for future generations. Continuing our Work In 2020 the Nikkei Lantern was again alight after many years of darkness. It signals hope and the dedication to preserving our historic neighborhood. We are deeply grateful to Palmer Electric the Iwashita Family and donors for making this happen.
