Thanks to the generous donations from key industry partners over 138000 jars of peanut butter has been distributed to a variety of organizations across the Southeast including food banks ministries as part of hurricane relief efforts. This tremendous effort was made possible by the support of the Texas Peanut Producers the American Peanut Council the American Peanut Shellers the National Peanut Buying Point Association the American Peanut Growers Group the Peanut Proud Festival the Georgia Peanut Commission Collins McNeill the Western Peanut Growers the Alabama Peanut Producers the American Peanut Marketing Association the North Carolina Peanut Producers the Virginia Peanut Growers and the South Carolina Peanut Board. Pallets of peanut butter have been delivered to partners such as Feeding Northeast Florida 2nd Harvest of South Georgia 2nd Harvest of Metrolina Bread of the Mighty Food Bank and Peanut Butter and Jesus Ministries.
