With locations in Morristown, Asbury Park, and Newton, the Market Street Mission is an experienced organization with a proven method of helping to fight alcoholism, drug abuse, hunger, and homelessness throughout New Jersey. Since 1889, we have been meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of men, women, and children in our community. Our mission is to surround our neighbors with God’s love and everything they need to get back on their feet – like food and shelter, counseling and job training, spiritual guidance and Bible study – to live productive lives in our community. Through our Emergency Services and residential Life Change Recovery Program, we are able to care for people's immediate needs today and long-term needs for a stable, independent tomorrow.

We want to see all of the graduates of our Life Change Recovery Program succeed. Our Restoration and Renewal program is designed to assist Mission graduates who have relapsed into addiction or homelessness. This 3-month residential treatment program takes place at our Asbury Park location and combines evidence-based therapeutic practices, with Christian principles and work therapy to foster spiritual growth, personal accountability, and community support.
