This Easter, me and My Donnie are in Colorado with my nephew Everett, Melissa, and the two Littles—Regan and Jase. This Glorious morning, we hiked up a mountain in Castle Rock, watched the sunrise, and prayed together. It was a precious and holy time I won’t ever forget. It brought to mind all my joyful Floyd family Easters in California... especially the bunny hunts! Dad would buy each of us a See’s Candy chocolate bunny, tape our names on them, and hide them all over the yard. We’d run around like kids again, laughing and hollering when we found our own. But before the fun always came church—because Easter has always been about Jesus.
