Just days after the 2024-25 school year ended, Westerville South High School incoming senior Emily Whitehead stood before the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday to testify about school funding. She is the latest Westerville community member to testify at the Statehouse to advocate for adequate school funding. WCSD Superintendent Angie Hamberg, Treasurer/CFO Nicole Marshall and Board of Education President Kristy Meyer as well as WSHS government teacher Kelley Stocker are slated to testify today about the proposed state budget bill.
