THE BARNSTABLE COUNTY AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY HELD ITS FIRST FAIR IN OCTOBER OF 1844. SINCE THEN THE SOCIETY HAS PROVIDED A VALUABLE SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY BY ADMINISTERING THE COUNTY FAIR WHICH HAS BECOME THE MOST POPULAR ANNUAL EVENT ON CAPE COD.
