Champions of Rescue
We’re a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to saving cats & kittens, mainly in Northeastern North Carolina and Southeastern Virginia. We believe that rescue is a team sport and strive to champion fellow animal welfare organizations in their efforts! As lifelong animal advocates, we're keenly aware of how overwhelming rescue efforts can feel. We're striving to be a part of the solution by engaging in the work ourselves and supporting others that do the same. We take in owner surrenders, backyard surprise kittens, and those in danger of being euthanized in overcrowded shelters. We're trappers, foster parents, owners, colony feeders and we all firmly believe that every feline deserves a friend!
