THE MISSION OF THE SPRINFIELD DEVELOPMENTAL CENTER IS TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES IN MAXIMIZING THEIR PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL, EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL QUALILTIES IN ORDER TO FOSTER THEIR INDEPENDENCE IN BECOMING CULTURED, COMPETENT AND ACCEPTED MEMBERS OF A SOCIETY RULED BY CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES.

Springfield Developmental Center Springfield Developmental Center Springfield Developmental Center is a day training program for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our focus is to teach basic academic vocational and living skills using various teaching techniques and tools to reinforce learning. We focus on personal skills required to prepare them for independent maintenance and economic selfsufficiency as deemed functional by their team. Examples of subject areas are printingwriting money skills including the use of a calculator planning purchases and shopping community and social skills gross motor time and punctuality and work skills.
