The Art Effect is thrilled to teach the upcoming "Comics and Character Design Workshop" for teens at Elting Memorial Library in New Paltz! This event will take place on Saturday, June 7 from 10:30am - 12:30pm and all supplies will be provided. In this hands-on drawing and character design workshop, teens will learn how to take their Original Characters (OC) to the next level AND gain technical skills in drawing hair, facial proportions, and background environments. Students are welcome to bring their OC sketches or just come with ideas! Leading the session will be Tamara Gentle, F.I.T. grad and Teaching Artist in The Art Effect's Media Art and Design Lab (MADLab). 🎨 Space is limited!
