We are still on a spiritual high from March 30, 2025! This past Sunday, Fellowship Chicago Baptist Church joined us at our UCAN Nichols Center Headquarters in North Lawndale for the very first "Sundays N’ Joy." Church looked a little different as we stepped beyond the walls of the sanctuary and into the very communities that UCAN serves. The Spring UCAN Hiring Event on March 20, 2025, was a huge success! ✅ 300+ job seekers attended, demonstrating strong interest in local opportunities. ✅ 20 employers from various industries participated and were highly enthusiastic about the quantity and quality of candidates. ✅ Job seekers engaged in meaningful conversations with hiring managers about open roles and career pathways. ✅ It’s exciting to see that several employers are already reaching out to schedule follow-up interviews, a great sign that valuable connections were made! The energy and engagement from both job seekers and employers were outstanding. Events like this reinforce the value of bringing talent and opportunity together in one place.
