Starting today O'Connell Landscape will trim the Palm trees in the Avendale Village. The impacted streets include Sellas Road, Sklar Street, Avendale Blvd and Daisy Street. To ensure safety and allow crews to complete the work as scheduled, please be sure to observe all “No Parking” signs in the area. We’re thrilled to share the first round of updates on the ongoing work at the Water Park. Despite facing several challenges, and after months of planning and preparation, construction has officially kicked off following county approval. In just the past few days, the old structure has been demolished, the picnic shelters are being cleared, and pallets with parts for the new structure have begun arriving! As part of this renovation, the picnic shelters will be upgraded to better serve the large groups that reserve these spaces for parties and events. And while nearly everything in the park is being replaced or revamped, don’t worry—the iconic red bucket will remain! It will be relocated to a new spot on-site, becoming a landmark for future photo opportunities. This is just the beginning of exciting changes at the Water Park!
