AKBA was established to preserve, foster, study and teach arts and culture to the community and its members in the tri-state area through various events and activities for the people in America.

AKBA American KarachayKavkaz Benevolent Association Our Mission The American KarachayKavkaz Benevolent Association AKBA was established on November 27 1989. AKBA was established to preserve foster study and teach the religion language customs history folkdances and folkmusic of the Karachay culture through various community events and activities for the Karachay people in The United States. AKBA was also established to strengthen the cooperative ties among the KarachayKavkaz people. The Karachay culture is the native culture of the indigenous peoples of the Karachay region of the North Caucasus Mountains.
