Ballet Latino de San Antonio(BLSA), a professional ballet company, is dedicated to recognizing and promoting San Antonio's multi-cultural diversity and Hispanic and Latin cultures through dance performances, training, outreach programs and touring. BLSA is on hiatus and is the parent company of San Antonio Youth Ballet. San Antonio Youth Ballet is the non-profit arm of San Antonio Ballet School, The San Antonio Youth Ballet is San Antonio’s premier pre-professional dance training program designed to cultivate the art of dance among future generations. The most passionate, pre-professional students who are interested in dance as a career are a part of this prestigious program.

Home - San Antonio Ballet School Connect With Us Our Story The San Antonio Ballet School was founded in 2016 by Danielle Campbell Steans on the belief that studying dance in a professional and nurturing environment inspires selfdiscipline and enhances the students innate artistic and creative talents. Our school follows the official American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum combining scientific principles with elements from the classic French Italian and Russian schools of training. Our comprehensive stepbystep instruction promotes proper technique while rigorous instudio practice translates into meticulous execution consistent with the individuals age ability and interest. In addition to ballet we offer alternative forms of dance to further develop a wellrounded perspective of artistic and physical expression.
