In honor of volunteer appreciation month, we would love to give a shout out to longtime TKP volunteers Barbara and Spencer. Not only do they volunteer every week to deliver meals to our critically and chronically ill clients, they also volunteer in our office when needed. Last week they spent four straight hours stuffing envelopes, a tedious but critical task for community outreach, and did not stop until the job was complete. Barbara and Spencer represent to TKP the epitome of community service. Their generosity of time and their wonderful spirits are truly inspiring. Thank you, Barbara and Spencer!! (fb)
