Voces Unidas for Justice
Voces Unidas for Justice is a cultural organization rooted in the Latin@ community. We use both Spanish & English in recognition that Latin@ identities extend throughout the Americas. We exist to support victims of violence & injustice, like domestic violence, stalking, & sexual assault, & including community violence. We responded to our beloved community by providing confidential victim advocacy & educational services with intention of preventing, responding to & advancing after the violence. To that end, we use various approaches to healing such as community leadership & education, with the Promotoras de Paz; advocacy & accompaniment; healing circles; dialogue; yoga; & art all based in our culture(s) in conjunction with the knowledge of the dynamics of violence & recovery from trauma.
