What the Hellgrammite?! This little bug may look like a centipede but is actually a dobsonfly larvae referred to as a hellgrammite. A female hellgrammite can produce a painful bite with those gnarly pincers, whereas a males mandibles are more tusk-like and do not have the proper leverage to inflict such a painful pinch!
