Founded at Stanford University in 2010, United States Common Sense is dedicated to opening government data and resources to the public, developing data-driven policy analysis, and educating citizens about how their governments work. In 2016, USCS restructured and shifted emphasis to providing enhanced public transparency and oversight of regulatory policy.
