FISCAL YEAR 2023 WAS A SIGNIFICANT YEAR OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS THAT INCLUDED LANDMARK ANNOUNCEMENTS, THE STEADY RETURN OF MEETINGS AND EVENTS, AND THE RESUMPTION OF OVERSEAS TRAVEL. WE WELCOMED LARGE, IN-PERSON EVENTS BACK TO THE PENNSYLVANIA CONVENTION CENTER (PCC), CULMINATING IN A FULL SLATE OF 19 CITYWIDES FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2019. PHILADELPHIA MADE HEADLINES IN JUNE 2022 AS WE WERE SELECTED AS A HOST CITY FOR THE WORLD'S BIGGEST SPORTING EVENT, THE FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 AND WWE CHOSE PHILADELPHIA AS THE LOCATION FOR WRESTLEMANIA 40 IN 2024.
