ESTABLISHED IN 1998, THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR PEOPLE WITHDISABILITIES OF NEW JERSEY (NIPD/NJ) IS A PROVIDER OF RESIDENTIAL ANDFAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES TO PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTALDISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILY WITH AN EMPHASIS ON PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS TO LIVE AS INDEPENDENTLY AS POSSIBLE.NIPD/NJ OFFERS A VARIETY OF RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS IN NORTHERN NEWJERSEY. NIPD/NJ ALSO SUPPORTS FAMILIES IN THEIR EFFORTS TO KEEP FAMILYMEMBERS WITH DISABILITIES, IN THEIR OWN HOMES.
