Last night on @allinwithchris, Public Counsel’s Gina Amato Lough spoke about Sofia—a 4-year-old girl with a rare, life-threatening condition who came to the U.S. legally under humanitarian parole to receive medical treatment. Thanks to the world-class care she receives at @childrensla, Sofia is thriving. Now, the U.S. government has revoked her status and ordered her to leave the country. Her doctors say she could die within days if her care is interrupted. Deportation would be a death sentence.
