Our Story The Harrisburg Public Schools Foundation was founded in 1998 by members of the community who wanted to enhance educational opportunities for children in the Harrisburg School District. The Foundation is a nonprofit 501 c3 and works in partnership with the school district. It is an independent organization. Our Mission Our mission is to improve academic achievement support programming and promote leadership and personal development of students within the Harrisburg School District.
