HGAC volunteers Mike and Pat Koziski have been busy over the past few months installing the last of the new Civil War Hospital signs -- and they thought they had installed the last of the signs manufactured by the Gettysburg Area High School Technology students -- until the thunderstorm on May 16. Farm owner John Pannick reported that lightning struck the tree behind the new Daniel Sheaffer hospital sign, bringing the tree down and shattering the sign. GAHS technology instructor Stan Licharowicz is working to see if he and his students can have a replacement sign ready by the end of the school year...stay tuned! (fb)
