This month we voted in family #291, 7 year old, Naston Leners of Emmetsburg. Nashton is the Son of Steven Mario Leners and Katelyn Howard. Nashton was recently diagnosed with a Wilm’s Tumor on his kidney which had to be removed. He has finished radiation and is currently doing Chemo therapy for 25 weeks. We welcomed Nashton and his family into our Shayla Bee Family on May 24th at the Hillcrest Golf and Country Club in Gratttinger following the Shooting Stars Golf Tournament. Please join us in welcoming this family. Our Families Over the years Shayla Bee has helped reduce financial burdens of working class families with a child in medical crisis. Shayla Bees assistance helps families overcome the stress and worry otherwise caused by these financial burdens allowing them to place their focus and energy on loving and caring for their child. When you donate to Shayla Bee you are truly supporting a family in our community. Giving Hope to 286 Shayla Bee Families since 2007 In October 2006 nearly two years after Shaylas death her life was an inspiration to help another family that had an 18 year old son with cancer.
