Friends of the Madison Public Library
The Friends of the Madison Public Library raises funds to support the Madison Public Library and its many wonderful programs. The Friends of the Madison Library (FMPL) was established in 1938 and is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run by volunteers. Our mission is to stimulate public interest and community use of the library’s resources and services and provide fundraising support. After expenses, the money raised is designated to go to the library to help finance materials, services, programs, technology and improvements that are not covered in the regular library budget.
