Our Mission Our Services Our Support Learn Ellwood Citys History The Ellwood City Historical Society preserves the rich history of Ellwood City in many ways Museum The purpose of this Society is to bring together those people interested in history and especially in the history of the Ellwood City area. Understanding the history of our community is basic to our democratic way of our life gives us a better appreciation of our state and nation and promotes a better appreciation of our heritage. The Ellwood City Area Historical Society hosts many artifacts in the History Center Museum. The archives are a collection of historical documents or records providing information about a place institution or group of people and accessioning is recording the addition of a new item to a library museum or other collection.
