RWJBarnabas Health’s Global Health team recently returned to Puerto Rico, in partnership with Direct Relief and a local federally-qualified health center (FQHC), to provide comprehensive home visits and care for community members, including women’s health services. Over the years, both RWJBarnabas Health and Direct Relief have worked to increase access to health care services through partnerships with community-based organizations on the island. Most recently, they joined forces to tackle social determinants of health to best serve the residents together.
