The Indiana Medical History Museum is housed in the well-preserved 19th century Pathological Department of Central State Hospital in Indianapolis. We are open Wednesday through Saturday by appointment only. To schedule a tour, visit www.IMHM.org/visit. Medical history is important! The past informs the present and inspires the future.
Our mission is to preserve Indiana's rich medical history by preserving the Old Pathology Building, collecting medical artifacts, and providing exhibits, publications, and programs.
