Our mission is to raise awareness about the epidemic of Noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) among young people and motivate them to protect their hearing Founded in 2010, our nonprofit's mission is to educate young people about the epidemic of Noise-induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and empower them with the tools to prevent it. Ear Peace: Save Your Hearing Foundation is an educational 503(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate young people about the epidemic of Noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) and equip them to take the necessary measures to preserve their hearing. With one in five U.S. teens suffering permanent hearing damage by the age of 19, NIHL is a public health epidemic that, because it's typically painless, often flies under the radar. Ear Peace Foundation partners with public and private K-12 schools, Universities, and other organizations to train their staff about NIHL and hearing preservation so that they can educate their students about this permanent, yet preventable, type of hearing loss.
