APUFRAM INTERNATIONAL
The mission of APUFRAM International is to provide a quality education and morality training to the poor in Honduras and the Dominican Republic through our support of the work of our partner organization APUFRAM (a civil non-profit operating in these countries). We support APUFRAM's motto of "God, Study, Work" and their philosophy of offering the poor a "hand up" instead of a "hand out" while rejecting any concept of entitlement.. We believe that the children and young people who participate in the APUFRAM educational system are given the tools necessary for them to escape the conditions of extreme poverty into which they were born. It is the foundation of an integral Catholic based education offered to its students by APUFRAM that provides them the opportunity to help themselves and their families, and to become self-supporting and productive citizens of their country.
