Since, 1971 WHGA has developed over 1,600 units of #affordablehousing in Harlem and offer an array of social services such as #financialliteracy #healthyeating WHGA is an affordable housing and social services organization founded in 1971. We serve West and Central Harlem residents. THE ORGANIZATION WAS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE HOUSING TO INDIGENT FAMILIES. ITS PURPOSE IS TO RELIEVE CONGESTION AND OVERCROWDING IN HOUSING AMONG POOR FAMILIES, MENTALLY DISADVANTAGED PERSONS AND THE HOMELESS.
